- Ir 75,000gns yearling, trained by M Johnston. Half brother to good 2yo sire Mujadil. Won 5 races at 2yo to 5yo between 7f to 12f, and a.Group 2 older winner. At 2yo won 1 from 3 with a debut
success in 7f maiden on August 3rd debut the runner-up in a 7f Listed at Newbury and a 7f Group 3 at the Curragh.
- First Season Sire in 2005 and by early August he had a moderate record but this improved to be slightly above average by the season end with 7 winners from 19 runners and a strike rate above 12%. The reasons for this improvement shows up in the distnace of the race wins with only one win from 29 runs at 5-6f (3.4%) and 10 from 56 at 7f or further (17.8%). The
bulk of the wins came in later season from August to October and, unusually, the majority were on the fourth outing or more. The wins were at average maiden and nursery race level at best although the better class winners (Trafalgar Bay, Road To Love and Prince Of Love)all gave hints they had scope to develop further from their later season wins.
