- Won all five races in France at 2yo. At 3yo developed over middle distances winning a French 12f Group 1. Went to the US at 4yo and won the Grade 1 Man O' War Stakes. To stud in 1998 in UK and transferred to France in 2001.
Very odd pedigree and background. By a top-class sprint 2yo who showed lesser form over 6-7f as an older horse out of a poor sprint mare. No staying blood in his first 3 generations. Yet he develops into a high-class 10-12f performer on two continents. Has struggled at stud and his mix of '2yo sprint' pedigree and Group 1 12f wins not likely to be fashionable. Best known in Britain for Milk It Milk who was out of a selling class sprint mare but won the Group 1 7f Dewhurst at 2yo and a Grade 1 in the US as an older horse. No worthwhile form shown by a small number of other runners since 2002 until a couple of minor winners in 2007.
