SUMMARY

Very slow time for conditions and really just a bit of exercise that could have taken place on the Fahey gallops. LVS had shown pace to be 2nd through halfway in the Brocklesby but got tired in later race. More knowing here and granted an easy lead on the rail at a slow pace. Did not have to make an effort until 1.5F out and pulled clear but from a smaller filly and a clueless stablemate. Poor form but LVS can clearly run quicker times and a professional effort.
MM a good size and bigger than LVS. But, mentally green and a bit lumbering on the day. Hung right handed during the pick-up and last and then taken left handed to drop in third on the rail. Able to keep with the slow pace set comfortably. Took some time to pick up when asked to make an effort 1.5F out and a little unbalanced. Got going in the last 0.5F and showed a willing attitude and plugging on well enough to the line. Difficult to know what that amounts to in 'promise' terms and perhaps not a real 5f type.
Filly Gartsherrie mentally prepared enough to settle 2nd and travel comfortably but against a slow pace. Comfortably outpaced by the winner and overpowered by the bigger 2nd after a brief tustle late on. Lower level (OR62?) competitive, if at all.
