SUMMARY
Going changed to GFF on straight course after this race run (1st of meeting). Stiff wind on day as Half headwind from right. Stalls on stands' rail. OR58 handicapper won in 71.17 carrying 5lbs more 2.5 hours after this race.
Average pace for first half of race with first 5 though halway within 2L of each other. GBug already struggling to stick with them and another 2L back. The other two adrift from early on. DGold refuse to settle behind leader and fight for head until allowed to lead (trainer said this surprised him as he would settle behind horses at home). Did setle once allowed to lead. upped the pace soon after halfway and dragged the others along under pressure until they cracked. Sinadinou stick at it best late on but adrift of the clear winner (who looks high OR80s at least).
