SUMMARY

Rail out until 2f out at bottom of hill.
MM run freely and set a slightly too strong pace. KS at 1L at halfway with TFOS at just over 3L, MM make effort inside last 2F and real response. TFOS made up 1L on downhill section before efforts made. Unable to close on MM until he stalled towards the last 0.5F. He was fading late and enable TFOS to plug on clear.
Solid effort by MM at his proven level and underperformed through over-racing.
TFOS got caught up in racing too close to stiff paces in last twoo runs but shown ability to keep plugging on. Hughes held her back to be further off pace here and that ability to keep at it used to the right effect to pick up fading leaders. Look in good condition and strongly supported.
KS fade off trying to chase MM and running a little freely herself. SB fade without much fight.
KC given a quiet ride and green at times. Trundling into faders late on so minor promise but at a low level.
SJ tail flashing and mix of being green and awkward attitude. Declared to run at course day after this but a NR being 'In Season' which would explain some of her demeanour her.
