SUMMARY

BS set stiff pace. 2.5-3L clear of CB & OTHT at halfway with BB & Orient 6-7L back from after the first 1F & driven along. Positions not change from early in race with BS putting everything under pressure and none able to make forward move. BS persist well off pace he set & put enough presure on CB & OTHT that they were only, finally, making some ground on him in the last 50yds as he stalled & they plugged on.
