Slow Pace and a poor time in line with Softer ground rather than GFG. Rail out by 10 foot (? Pontefract do not specify the distance) for full 6f to mildly account for a slower time but not this slow. Field within 2L of each other at 2F out and full efforts not start until inside the last 2F. SR a comfortable winner after taking time to get out of a pocket behind the leaders inside the last 2F. Still green when asked to go after the leader but clear winner despite the lack of professionalism. WL a smaller trier and little scope to develop. Presume sub OR-70. A'dubai drift and moderate effort in later race with no obvious excuse. The race she ran in here in April seems to have been even weaker than it looked with the 2nd-4th home that day competing moderately since. They were clear of the rest in that race. Given the race shape and lack of pace difficult to be positive about anything other than the winner and WL as a solid trier at her level. DS still too green to run a proper race and not obviously a 6f filly. Some interest in seeing how she develops over 7f+ (mixed pedigree & some KA). |
