Stalls stands' rail, Pace average early and field tightly grouped after 1F with a number free or pulling for their heads. Pace picked up after 2F when IB cross back over to the rail and took lead and upped the pace. Al Aasifh drop in behind IB and weaker ones already being niggled or driven by halfway. Comfortable win by AA and not pressed to pull clear. Somwhat tempered view by the apparent lack of quality in the others. Hard to see any of them as Maiden winners unless Elusivity a more typical Hannon debut from previous years that snaps into form STO after moderate debuts. FF look small and just over OR70, FW OR 60s and a poor mover. Red Marling represents the right sort of trainer and a surprise to see him at longer odds given the maiden he ran in FTO has produced 4 later wins (two were behind him that day) and 4 more with solid places since. Jockey seemed intent on teaching him to setle but look below average size and moderate effort when asked. A nursery project if he is usable. |
