SUMMARY

Miss Clairton able to get to lead comfortably and control the pace and delay her effort inside last 2f and in the straight. Shifted towards centre track. JB make up most of 1.5L to challenge to 1F out but then stall inside the last 0.5f. Smaller than MC and challenge further towards far rail but not progressing given lack of physical scope.
Mark Prescott batches up runners in sets of debuts. The earliest batch, and when as early as this year, usually competitive 2yos rather than the 3yo handicap set-up types. This win means the first set of 5 debuts have now all won. Some bumps in the road with two STO defeats for his two FTO winners for Cheveley Park. But, as with this win by Miss Clairton, he tends to go away and adjust the sights after a setback and you would think both of two will win at least one more race.
