SUMMARY
Hmm, as the Paddock Review notes said about more than one of them 'Useless & Stupid, it is not a good combination'.
Just and average pace and not spread field out fully. Lady Brookie set pace on rail and take time to get on top but going on at finish. To some extent typical Bill Turner in thinking he can only win Claimers & Sellers with apprentice and cheekpieces applied. But, LB's effort at Ffos Las and modest win here off low weight cast some doubts over quality of Brocklesby. She seemed to 'fail' at Ffos Las but those ahead of her have now won 3 races plus 2 places so perhaps just beaten by better horses and Bill Turner correct to win what he can with her. In which case the Brocklesby was poor form even at the front.
Mark Brisbourne had first runner with Belle Royale and his first runner of the year in the last 5 seasons has been a winner and he has only ever had two, at most, each season. Looked to have produced a similar, competitive, low level one here. A peculiar shape, tall & leggy but compact bodied but athletic and good attitude.
