Stalls stands' rail. Field race off rail. WAATP first run for new stable. Saddle slip going down to post and went back to parade ring to get the saddle refitted. Got wound up during this and would not stand still to be resaddled. Drifted in Market during this. During race looked small against the Dffar and a size smaller than FF (smaller colt). Comfortably held in later race sprint off moderate pace when eased. This perhaps due to saddle slipping again. Mr Ivory would be on the list with the likes of the Johns, Best & Hills, as ones where you just know something is going to go wrong, Now. WAATP as short odds-on, even with Moore riding, just feels wrong. |
