SUMMARY
Rail out for entire 7f distance. Slow pace and slower time and limiting ratings. Final time assisted by jockey O'Neil on AB kicking the final efforts off early by joining the leader inside the 3F out pole. Jockey and that one respond and set off an extended duel with WD finally faltering in the last 50 yards.
AB the most expensive yearling by his sire in 2009 and talked up by the trainer. Pull clear with WD and time would have been dreadful but for their strong efforts. Both are clearly capable of much better ratings.
KO given an educational ride in the sense of being taught to settle. Hauled back from the start to race at the rear in a slow race. Did settle but horse looks a slow learner and green when taking a long time to understand what was required in the later race efforts.
