SUMMARY

OR55 older horse ran 62.6s later in meeting carrying 1lbs less.
AF seemed to be happy with second and not want to go past Bathwick Bear when pulling clear with him in a Novice race earlier in season. More than a hint of the same thing here with AF able to follow BM and keep with him no matter what effort he made, or where he wandered to, in the last 1F. But never look like going past him despite not looking all out.
Clipthorne able to finish in front of solid 5f fillies on debut by staying on late through faders after a pace war up front and getting behind. Green here which was part of the problem but seemed to be put through the mincer by faster horses who saw the race out. Could not even get back to TN & Malgoof who had pressed on too hard and faded int he last 1f.
