SUMMARY

7mm of watering applied on Saturday before racing.
Spartic small but neatly made and a trier. Able to get to front comfortably and set an average pace enabling him to finish the race off. Making ground difficult. Dark Dune 5L+ back at halfway and make progress through to second inside the last 1F but not finish the race off after the effort.
Dubai Glory supported after 'quiet intro' run and well drawn. But, being next to the rail becomes a negative if you do not get out and everything else in the field has an angle on you to cut across you and force you back. Shuffled back to 9th as the forward goers cut over and 9-10L off the comfortable leader at halfway and no chance at thst point. Took time to get going and just steady, consistent progress to make 7L+ back in the straight and 2L of that late on as the second rank start to stall.
