SUMMARY

Rail out on downhill section to cutaway at 2f out.
Clear win for SSands but left with nothing to beat other than Smart Red who has shown poor form in 2 previous runs. But SR the only other runner to complete a vaguely competent race.
PH look unwilling and pack it in after 1F. Jockey on CQ attempt to take him over to stands side on the downhill section where the railing out reduced the width of the track. This proved a negative and the horse seemd to pack it in by 2F out and had lost the forward momentum he had earlier in the race when with the winner. Surprise smaller and too green to compete in last 2f. Not move like a good use of 160,000 guineas in earlier race.
