SUMMARY

Typical 5f race with the break and where that allowed the runners to get to after the race had settled down crucial.
SR do just enough to hold rail from stall 1 and control race from there. Able to delay the late race effort and solid effort to finish race off and usual willing attitude.
LL held back to run the rail behind SR. Pulling and running too freely at times as the pace settled mid race. Jockey wait to make challenge inside SR at the cutaway. Has good forward effort but relativey shortlived. Able to use it to get level with SR but then unable to get past her late on as she battled hard.
MissM had a worse passage through the race than the first two and another example of why it is better to drop to the rail (as LL had) rather than keep pressing forward wide. Slowish break from widest draw and early effort left her with 3 horses inside her after 0.5f. Jockey decide to press forward and ended up up two wide (i.e. two horses inside her) for the whole race. Solid forward effort to close up to within a neck of SR inside the last 1f. Effort told in last 0.5f and stalling. Better than final result here and has not had a 'clean' run (efficient) through either of her last two races.
