SUMMARY

Field race stands' rail. Strong pace and a tough race for newcomers and weaker runners. Pace applied consistent pressure and extended later race effort. Only the first three home able to finish the race off and everything else fading.
Good effort by Zanazzi to run freely and set the stiff pace and able to raise a response when headed in the final 1F. Date With Destiny sat in ideal place at 4L off lead and ont he rail. Comfortable progress and Hughes waiting to launch the final effort. Green and took time to respond but a comfortable winner and the type of debut for Hannon than normally indicates a better class one that will end up in Group races.
OD related to range of winners for connections and fulfilled each-way support.
Long break back to the others so difficult to judge any 'promise'. Good example with RM who was last after 1F and off the back. Got back to a very remote 6th by slowly plugging on up the rail through the faders.
Ventose interesting after returning from break. Sole filly who finished in the first 9 in a Windsor race in April that has not won. Long SP but ran well enough after being too free in early race to suggest might be usable OR66-71.
