SUMMARY

Slow pace and dreadful time. 7f Nursery later on card run in 1.36s faster time with that winner only carrying 3lbs less. Field race Centre to Far Side strip. Unsatisfactory race because of slow pace and turned into a 2f sprint between prospective 8f+ horses. Difficult to make ground and horses held back at start put out of the race by the asction.
Ecliptic in battle with jockey for first 3F and not settling in lead pulling. Despite that he managed to finish the race off to confirm how slow the pace was. Managed to throw race away off his 'easy' lead by hanging right inside the last 1F. Able to respond once balanced and closed back to KoT but then hung left late to finally give the race away.
