SUMMARY

12mm of Watering over period Thursday to Saturday morning. 3mm of Rain on Sunday morning. Runners kicking up Divots, as usual, despite the GGF going report. Presumably the water sitting in the surface with a firm base and runners stripping the soft skin of turf off.
Fastish time but a particular lack of notable position changes from halfway to the finish. Just small adjustments other than Atia hanging left to Centre track and fading and Electric Waves making up ground lost early.
The Sydney Arms strong support and presumably close to bes of Hannon 2yo sprint fillies. Settled comfortably in third to a solid, but usable pace, Not immediately close on leading pair as efforts made 2F out. Get to them into the last furlong in the gap between them and slightly hampered. SAP fade late and Dress Up stall to allow TSA to be on top at the finish.
Trainer S Kirk run three and Dress Up first string on jockeys but 25/1. A very good debut by trainer standards and the one off the back at halfway was another of his three to make the point. Broke well and led early until SAP come over from centre to join her. Went past SAP as efforts made and saw that one off. Stall late and a couple of tail flases to the whip. Look shorter but wide bodied and strongly built. Entirely different shape to the tall and narrow SAP. Ought to be OR80+ and trainer has said he will look to win a £10k bonus race with her.
No excuse for SAP unless going still a bit softer. Perhaps run a bit freely but no worse than newcomr Dress Up who finished the race off better.
Solid effort by Electric Waves to make real progress to 4th as the 2F out efforts were made. Stalling at 0.5F out. Ok promise to be OR70+
Melodize a solid size and attend pace despite being a little green. Got unbalanced inside last 1.5f but respond until fading late. Trainer's early debut usually competitive 2yos but will take time to win. Trainer has only had one winner before late May in recent years.
No strong promise elsewhere although you would assume Eucharist will be fully ready STO and finish her race off better after an educational effort here.
