SUMMARY

Field Split into two Groups. First two home finish on Far Rail. Stands' Side Group mostly uncompetitive in the last 1f. Newcomer Evening In only stands side runner to make the first 7 places. In genral stands side appeared to go harder than the far side and not get home fully. Even on the far side the prominent racers did less well and the leaders at the finish had mostly been held up. Sweet Cheeks make solid effort from prominent run on far side and led inside the last 1F but fading in the last 0.5f.
Low level stuff but would mark up Evening In for best effort on stands' side (drifted to centre-stands in the last 1f+) & Bigalo's Laura B for presisted best off a prominent run on the far side.
Winner ran in trainer's second colours (to Karafuse who led the field overall on the stands rail) and he said in interview after the race he was surprised to have to buy Peppercorn Rent back. On the plus side he said she was a bigger filly and perhaps developing a little.
