SUMMARY

Rail out.
Unsatisfactory race with a moderate pace and the field within 2L at halfway and the short priced favourite donated a comfortable lead. Immediate response 2F out by CP and 8L clear by the final 1f. Others trundle on in group and no separation developed. PLM held back early and dropped in behind a moderate pace. Going ok 2F out but other three formed a pocket for him to get blocked in for the last 2f. Would have had to drop back to get out wide and jockey investigated a gap 1 off the rail instead and got stopped. Suspect he should have been in the gap between the winner and the others with a clear run.
