SUMMARY

Low quality race on Profile depending upon quality of Mother Jones debut form at Newmarket. She broke awkwardly and took time to get going. That probably indicated she was not happy on the day. A brief effort inside the last 2F but fading by the last furlong and eased. She had finished 6th at Newmarket and the 4th was beaten at Yarmouth early in the week while the 5th (Phoebs) won at Lingfield 40 minutes before this race & perhaps help to make this one favourite.
Dolly Parton run too freely on recent debut and more settled here in unpressed lead on rail. Set just an average pace. Race turned into sprint inside last two furlong and not really spread field out.
MM still going comfortably towards the last furlong with the others working. Jockey on MM able to wait to make his effort at around 1F out. Took a little time to respond but going clear at finish. Comfortably best in a moderate field.
Probably nothing outside the winner worth following depending upon the view of Kassaab. Another very expensive one and visibly much heavier than the rest of the field other than MM. Ran a competent race without be able to produce a strong effort later in the race. Trainer has a poor record with 2yos with just 2 winners since he started in 2005 from 30 individual 2yos. Both of those winners were his first runners of their years. One was Stolt who won a similar race to this at the course on debut. Mixed story but this one probably better than 50% chance to develop to be a winner.
Trainer of Mother Jones told Stewards the filly was In Season after the race at the Enquiry into her failure.
