SUMMARY
 Rain before and during racing. Meeting started with going at official GS. This changed to Soft after the race before this one.
Field race centre track and average pace at most. Whole field within 2.5L of lead at halfway with two banks of three raicng within 2L of lead. OTHT & Madany racing in line in 4th and 8th in line with gap between the banks and Madany 0.5L off them travelling best and most balanced.
Despite the average pace most of the runners not getting home properly. Main reason for this seemed to be UR challenging Bussa just after halfway and the leader responding .This kicked the race off more than 0.5f early and that pair stalling into the last 1f and fading into the last 0.5f. Good effort by BRoyale at just 0.5L off this pair at kick-off. Made her effort a little later but still early. Able to outlast the two males and then respond to new challenge of winner into the last 1f. Pulled clear with that one of the stallers & faders and only stalling herself late on.
Madany 2.5L back at halfway and going well enough to be able to delay her effort into the last 1.5f. Solid forward effort to get lead but unable to shake BR off until that one stalled. Improved effort and has an ability to make an effort of her cruising speed that is better than the average for her ability range.
LVS still developing and has not put a full race together when under pressure. Brief effort then fading late on and a remote 3rd at the head of those losing ground.
LPC going Ok into the last 2f and trying to find a gap in the front bank of three to make an effort. Nothing happened when she found a gap and then faded.
OTHT pulled much too hard in the first 2f to be able to finish the race off. Even so, how quickly he was left behind inside 2F out was a surprise.
RC improved LTO and pulled 9L clear with a Prescott horse that has won since. Jockey change here and never going that well. Like LPC looked to be trying to find a gap in the leading bank and not finding it. Hampered just before the final furlong and that ended his race. Quick answer to say he was 'unlucky'. But, more than a hint that like LPC he wasn't actually going anywhere in behind and might well have ben stalling bfore he got cut off. Lacklustre effort after the improvement LTO before the hampering.
