SUMMARY

Peculiar race to watch unfold. Line of Three develop from the rail out as CK, Memo & Novabridge. But, not appearing to go berserk and other three within 1L, 2L and 5L (Fast Shot). Front line broke up early with Memorabilia dropping to the rail never to return. CKnot unbalanced on the rail through halfway in the dip and dropping back. Made some response when switched out to centre track. Novabridge & Nasharra racing wider of the rail and able to make some forward progress. Widest runner Fast Shot able to close up running centre track. Intrusion switched away from rail after halfway then back towards it at 1F+ out. Running near to the rail through the dip seemed a problem. Check how CKnot runs next time and whether Fast Shot can stand the improvement up. But, a weak maiden and the won by the solid Open Maiden winner who has the physical scope to win off higher than OR76. Novabridge won an empty maiden in early season and a fast ground maiden from rabbits. Has packed it in a couple of times since and would need to be in much better form to make OR73 even an averagely competitive mark for him. At least seemed to try for more than 4F here.
