SUMMARY

Field raced stands side to centre in the straight. Ahlaain a solid win but from a mixed bunch. Muntasib looked a suspect mover and painful to watch how he extends & recovers his front legs. Aquilifer metally young and fizzy and needs to grow up a lot to fulfil what potential he has. VanD ran too freely. OOTS has picked up two previous places by staying on late through faders in faster races where she was 10th & 11th through halfway. This a different race set up and probably ran to similar rating but not look 'Eyecatching' because unable to go with the better types when the later race efforts made. Probably an example of how 'Eyecatching' trundling through tired fields needs more filtering than just saying all the 'relative' plugging on is ok. She now has three 1st 4 finishes and has never got anywhere near challenging in any race despite being touted as an 'Eyecatcher'.
