SUMMARY

Field race Stands' rail. Just about average pace and enough pressure to mostly sort the abilities. Racing close to the race as a group led to two notable bits of hampering. SovS travelling ok on the rail towards 2f out but unable to find a gap until into the last 1f. Not a lot happened when clear but Check.
Further back AK carved up just before halfway by BD and shuffled back to last. Set her back at a bad time but again just an ordinary effort when clear later on. The sort of cutting up you can do to a 5lbs apprentice but wouldn't try on Fallon, say. Unless you wanted practice your boxing skills.
Another somewhat reluctant effort form PH after being bullied to get involved last time. Needing to be hastled to do things here but mostly responded and seemed to be beaten by better, bigger, horses. An entry for the 'Malcolm Tomlinson Award for use of Inappropriate Verbs' from one pundit who suggested that PH had 'thundered home' LTO at Epsom. I think you'll find it is a bit more complicated that that.
