SUMMARY

Field raced centre track. Below average pace and race developed into 2f+ sprint. Ordinary effort by Najoum even factoring in the difficulty of making separation in later race. Finished strongly. But, PDLago a little green and appeal as the better prospect with more scope. Another, bigger, flashy one by the sire and an expensive one for owner Ogden who is using Fahey now. GQ smaller and vulnerable in Open Maidens. RH still showing quirks and hanging but hanging onto the first three in later race despite that. Halfway call between devaluing form & being an ok one who has underperformed.
