Miss Clairton appeared not to stay 6f last time after setting the pace. Improved effort here despite up in trip but ridden with restraint and travelling best to the pace set. Too much pace for the overall type in this group and not beating strong performances behind. Fabiello's trainer said he thought his horse had won a weak race LTO on Heavier turf. His knee action and somewhat awkward action showing up more here on a faster surface. Screenprint sweaty and fizzy in prelims and faded very quickly and eased after pulling to the lead. LTO win in a weak race. Greek Islands an expendable type for Godolphin and Zarooni trained. We are still learning about the stable and at the top level he has an 18% Strike Rate to date and has run 43 juveniles. One area which looks less good is the way the 3TO runs develop and how 'Reliable' his horses are in running to form. Several example that look like training off quickly and not a stable that you would be sure of to improve horses and hit the right marks and adjust the sights to the right level when needed. |
