SUMMARY

Rain during day at times. Fields came stands' side in the straight during the meeting. Strong pace within 2L of lead going into the bend and LGirl soon hanging right and losing her place. Midfield at 5-6L back with last 4 at 10-16l. Winner was 12L back into the bend and railed well. Presume pace too strong and enable MB to get to the fading leaders late. Lack of other closers partly caused by the midfield being under pressure anyway and the other adrift runners lacking ability or not handling the bend.
McCabe 2yos are into better form and FTO win here in a weak race with 2.5 of the 3 'Form' Horses not getting home properly.
Good old Alhoni. Stuck in a rut of racing midfield and then trundling on in later race, in her own time, to place. Visor LTO made no difference so Blinkers here. Races prominently now and looking likely to win form before the turn in. HTS never going and Alhoni ought to have CLass' number at the weights anyway. Plugging on in her desultory fashion into the last 1F but clear and nothing looking likely to come and stop her winning. Start hanging left then really go late on. And, she manages to find a way to Chuck it Away on the dive to the line to a 25/1 shot and not even finish second. Genius.
