SUMMARY

Below average pace. First 9 within 3.5L of lead at halfway on turn into the straight and the uphill section.
Another example of a horse set up for an 8f race and racing off an OR which does not reflect his physical type. Imperial Look stood out as bigger, and more powerful, than a typical OR50s horse. Regimental smaller and lacking the same scope but very neatly made and a ready, athletic type given a smaller frame. ImpLook outpaced on the kick to the straight on the AW on debut over 6f. Followed that by two runs over 5f and outpaced after halfway on the fibresand STO and then given a 3TO run where the jockey did nothing over 5f. Up to 8.3f here and onto turf and supported in the Market and a prominent ride. More of the Cumani/Piceno stuff. Tiresome.
Competitive depth of field reduced by three Refusniks with Endorser, GR & LMorganna all given bullying rides to no ultimate positive. Last of three the one who showed most and could be usable off her OR if she tried fully. Eduardo ran too freely early. Pahente slow and underpowered even in these conditions and BBullet too wound up in prelims but not in form and not seeming to stay.
Which means reading the result as a five horse race in the straight between the first 5 home. Winner seemed to lack pace when efforts made (again) and dropped to fourth but stayed on most thoroughly. CCastle able to make a better effort but then fading having got to a vaguely challenging 3rd towards the last 1f.
