SUMMARY
 3 x 6f races on course on day and this the only one with far rail runners. Two in this race produced the 8L winner and in a time just 0.2 seconds slower than the winner of the juvenile Listed race (carrying same weights).
Trainer Evans seems to be back in form with 2yos also winning the Listed race (and an Irish Group 3 yesterday). Interviewed in morning and said he felt the horses had not been fully 'right' for the previous 2 months. But adding he had a lot that were not capable of winning. FW in FT blinkers here and trainer said the horse has not shown his full ability on the track and par tof the reason for being in a seller. Given the relative times of this win and the Listed event tricky to know whether some part of it down to a Far Side advantage. Both races won by same stable and they have always said Bathwick Bear was the best they had and presumably always better than this winner.
Second time that WFP has shown something that looked a little better than her basement OR. Made a better effort than CLass at 2f out and continued it longer. Three later runs after last hint of improvement not fulfil any promise. Small one and see whether second here just an accident or real improvement.
Best finish other than the winner from Ad Value who has presumably been a problem horse to deal with. Given a hard ride early to get him going but on-board witht he idea of being a racehorse by 2f out. Blocked there and time to find a gap. Real effort to get from around 12th on the stands' rail to a going on 4th in centre track at the finish. Ought to be up to winning a seller if he can put a fully competent race together.
