SUMMARY

Jockey Catlin able to get away with controlling race from front after getting to the lead. Settled the pace and stacked whose behind up with many pulling and some running wide lanes. But, strong effort in context of grade by Saxonette and better than a seller rabbit. Solid effort by BBongee in a clear 2nd.
TFOS first run for new trainer after claimed from the Hannons. Instinct tells you this is not going to go well with trainer McInnes having a below average record with 2yos. Nothing went right for TFOS here with a wide draw, slow start and bumped and then running 3 wide throughout. Raised some progress downhill to bend but hanging once in the straight. Tend to think the poor girl can only go one way from here.
Trainer Salaman a smaller stable but more reliable. Simmons given an educational run until the straight and priduced an ok effort. Ought to be capable of better in the grade and should place STO, at least.
