SUMMARY
Field split into two Groups.
Easy Ticket raced far rail and clear in that group in later race. Trainer Brown interviewed after the race said they had hindered the horse's performance in the last two runs (after the very good debut) by trying to hold the horse up. This had been the problem at Redcar where he had fought being held early and then got into the race too late. Horse allowed to stride on here and back to a better performance level. Fast conditions on day and only 1.32s slower than 7yo Markab in the Group 1 race carrying similar weights. What sort of Group 1 was that? Owner Fretwell interviewed in another extended advertising slot said that ET could work with the older OR100 sprinters at Brown's yard. Which probably answers the question. Moderately defended and up-for-grabs.
