SUMMARY
Stiff wind on day as a half headwind from the right.
Solid pace with ADC joined by Miserere (slow start) after half a furlong and the pair lifting the pace a notch. This enough to drop MM to second rank and have the green NBJ under pressure (driven after 1F had gone until she faded early). Miserere & ADC press on together including the normal 2F out effort and race as a pair until Miserere stalled around the final furlong point. ADC plug on after this for clear win and another strongish finish.
Miserere small but showed reasonable pace at a low level and owns a very believable 5f 2yo pedigree. Perhaps OR55 to 65 competitive if can see a full 5f out.
MM too slow on this track faced with 3 nippier fillies receiving weight. A little outpaced again 2F out but plugged on to the finish. Presume he will go up in trip and see how he performs then.
LDS raced with head up and/or to the right throughout. For the first 2F this appreaded to be because she was being held by the jockey and trying to race freely. Jockey keen to hold her in behind ADC to try to settle her. In the last 2f she seemed to struggle to go with the efforts comfortably and the Head carriage looked like not wanting to go faster on the ground or perhaps unwilling. Finally let go and started hanging late on and not looking comfortable.
