SUMMARY

Presumably a very good bit of front-running looking at the lack of changes after halfway. Other than the moderate filly SSioux who had been hustled along to chase the leader (who got his own way overall) nothing else changed relative positions. Division run in 0.21s slower than first one which seemed a more competitive event.
Trainer Johnston been in well below usual form with 2yos in 2010 and odd winners but no sustained spell of solid runs. But performance in last week suggests the normal form level is there. 16 runners since August 27th have now produced 6 wins and only one clunker. Those six successes have doubled his number of wins for the whole season. Horses look better overall and finishing races off more regularly.
