SUMMARY

Stalls stands rail and field raced stands' side. Racing on day suggested another Stands' Rail bias although not as pronounced on the infamous Saturday earlier in the season.
Fast conditions with a strong wind as some form of tailwind. This the fastest time for a 2yo at the distance here since, at least, the start of 2004. Next fastest in 72.18s & sub 73s rare.

CMagic ran the rail and appeared to set too strong a pace. Bias perhaps contributing to him hanging on as well as he did and still responding to the line. Pace set had the winner niggled along at times and wore the leader down. Unusual run by Tasfeya and evidence for a stiff pace. Struggling to go with the pace and driven along at halfway and racing away from the rail. Did more than close up to tired horses in making an effort to progress before 1f out.
