SUMMARY

Very slow time even given that the rail was out and adding 27 yards to the race distance (a little over 1 second). Times generally very slow on the day and ground appeared very testing. But, both 2yos races won by the leader at halfway and not easy to make ground. Ibsaar got the rail here and forced his owner's Edmaaj to run Lane 1 next him throughout the race. Pair duelling from inside 2f out. Often difficult for wide runners to make ground on easy lead rail runners here.
