SUMMARY

Field race far rail. Slower times on day on straight course. MM set pace as she had at Redcar but in slower conditions stalling by 1.5F out.
Cocktail Charlie going comfortably behind MM & inherit lead as she stalled. Strong effort and best 5F pace on show to go to clear lead. Stalled a little late on and unable to hold off Bahceli's strong finish. Presume CC up to Listed class at 5f.
Bahceli run a similar race to Pontefract debut in some ways. Not look full 5f there and driven along before 2F out here. Tends to race with his head up and not look entirely comfortable when under pressure but perfectly willing. Second best effort to chase CC but appearing to struggle a little to get to him. Hung left inside the last furlong in response to the whip. Jockey switch whip and continue to ask for effort despite the fact the horse seemed unbalanced. Bahceli respond vey well once gathered and find extra effort close to line to complete making up the 1.5L he was back at 0.5F out. Shows something unsual with the strong finish again and not look fully fit and can develop further.
SBuck lesser type than first two and ran to his level. MM not given chance to show what he could do. On rail behind MM at 2F out and that filly roll towards the rail as she stalled. Jockey on MM not resolve how to get past her as she wobbled L&R until well into the last 1F so taken back out of the race by that.
