SUMMARY

Not an obviously over-strong pace but Halfway positions to final placings suggest too strong for the conditions. Winner and second both over 2.5L back of the lead at halfway but with DB on the rail and AS on the outside wing 4 wide. 2nd-4th finishers all on the rail at halfway and moved forward as a group relative to, most of, the widers racers as they faded. Suggesting a Rail bias and meaning AStar perhaps ran better than result given he was the only wid eout runner to make any progress.
