SUMMARY

Field race Stands' Rail. BS taken to lead early and set solid pace with Kassaab 1.5L back after 2F & niggled along. NS & HHR 3L+ back and part driven along. LHero green early and lose ground and 5L+ off back to pace set. Field close up to BA a little as he settled uphill but he then made and effort inside 2F out on the uphill section. Tok time to get away from the 2nd to 4th (at halfway) but pulling away in the last half furlong as they stalled or faded. Pace set meant that Kassaab who had chased it faded worst and NS & HHR stalled inside the last furlong at different points. This allowed the adrift LH to get onto the back of the group by 1F out and get past the stallers/faders by 0.5F out. But BS still going forward and responded late on to be holding LG comfortably.
BS look OR80+ on Paddock Review and this performance in line with that. Set pace that broke the OR60-70s types enough so that they got picked up by an adrift closer. But, managed to keep going of fit well enough himself. Trainer had said in early season he had a better one than BS ready to go but it needed naming. This is probably Move In Time that ran yesterday. This a positive for that one with BS a solid winner here.
LH a positive in Paddock Review and ok for OR74+.
Howard Johnson had his first runner with NS and has started some of his best types at Hamilton as part of his earliest runners in previous years. NS a negative in Paddock Review for OR75+ and not look one of his better types.
Kassaab a heavily built Kyllachy and perhaps not carrying that weight yet. Fade badly here after chasing the pace. Trainer has moderate record of developing 2yos so may not get this one sorted. Has the physical scope to develop but perhaps needs a less stiff track now and not get up the hill here.
