SUMMARY

Stiff pace with field split into two groups at halfway. First 8 in a widespread across track pressing the pace within just over 2L of each other. Break of 5-6L back to CCastle unable to go the pace dropping in trip notably. Other pair 2-3L further back.
First three made up of horse that travelled best in the second rank of the pressing group and holding off two Deep Closers who only got into the places later on as the pressing group broke up. RTB up in trip and probably improved for some softer going given his action.
