Run in 2.21s slower than the second Division. Slow pace & Stalls Centre and field race Centre through race until hangers spread out later on. First 12 within 3-4L of lead past halfway. Strongest finishers on stands' side of centre and reading draws might suggest a bias. SPs suggest the best horses drawn high, with one exception, so produce that effect. KOJ work across to centre track from his low draw and widest of the finishers. Better horses seemed to get to front despite pace but difficult to assess their relative abilities. Perhaps pick out Aramid (hauled back early and quiet ride last 2F) & Mrs Neat (OkSz & mover but too green) from the ruck to see how they develop. Salvationist hampered at starts and always adrift so nothing proved. |
