Picture - of the finish. First 2yo winner of season for John Best MTrader supported from 20/1 to favourite. Wild on debut and unable to show ability (ok OR73+ in Paddock Review) and buried in rear in big field. Good condition and more relaxed here. Taken down to the start very early. Seemed real punt for trainer who does try to set them up for usable ones. Fallon had been the centre of an incident at York where Regal Approval was deemed a runner when Fallon was off the horse in the rigging after the horse had been playing up. Rare ride for trainer here and BFair looked in excellent condition and ready for the day. Horses rearing stalls and Fallon off stood on the side again at one point. Appeared to be back on but horse reared on the break and took off loose. |
