SUMMARY

Very testing conditions and a slow time (more than 11s slower than the fastest 7f time in 2009, for example). Only first two finishing the race off with third fading from 1f out and rest of field walking home and eased. First 2yo runner of season for trainer Ellison and his first debut winner. Presume the late start in the season helping the FTO be ready to compete. Won the later 3yo+ maiden with a career FTO runner as well. Mystic Winds seemed to win a little comfortably and clearly happy in the conditions. Supported and presumably chosen from the ones he has ready now to be able to compete. Runs for partnership group that trainer tries hard to get winners for.
