- 2002 foal, 16.0hh. US bred and raced winning 8 of 12 starts at 2yo to 3yo. Won 4 of 6 runs as a juvenile in two minor 5.5f events, a 6f Grade 2 and the 7f Grade 1 Hopeful Stakes. Also second in two 8.5f Grade 1 races at that age including the Breeders' Cup Juvenile (to Wilko). Started off his 3yo career winning a minor event over 6f before moving up in distance to run in all the Triple Crown races. Won two legs in the 9.5f Grade 1 Preakness Stakes and the 12f Grade 1 Belmont Stakes. Finished third in the 10f Grade Kentucky Derby doing best of the more fancied runners in an edition notable for an overly strong pace allowing a 50/1 winner (Giacomo) to come through to succeed having missed the pace war.
- At stud in Kentucky for a fee of $20,000 for 2009. 72 yearlings sold in 1008 for an average of $118,000.
