- First Season Sire in 2006. Trained by AP O'Brien in Ireland. Won 10 races at 2yo to 3yo between 5-8 furlongs. Won 5 from 7 at 2yo in a 5f maiden on April 21st; July 1st, Gp3 7f Railway Stakes; Aug 22nd, Gp2 6f Gimcrack Stakes at York; Oct 7th, Gp1 7f Grand Criterium at Longchamp and finally on Oct 20th the Gp1 7f Dewhurst Stakes at Newmarket.
- Won 5 from 6 at 3yo, all at Gp1 level, including the 2000 Guineas. Only defeat when 2nd in Breeders' Cup Mile at Arlington.
- Made just an ok start with his British raced 2yos in 2006 with 7 winners from 31 runners and a strike rate just below average. Got winners between 5-8f from early May and one better quality win with Roxan's Listed success in a relatively weak Hilary Needler Trophy. 54 yearlings sold for an average above 67,000 guineas.
