GFF going with watering but no details given although stopped on Tuesday as rain forecast. No rain up o mid-morning before the meeting. Going Stick at 8.2 on WEDS [Check Update]. Reading update to 8.5 at noon but then 5mm of rain in heavy showers before racing. Stalls Centre. Medium Breeze as a Half Headwind from the Right. Jockey Hanagan said after the race that it was good that the runner-up had got LS off the bridle as she had not been for her debut win. Yearling buyer for MPR seems to do a good job? Or is it multiple people including Fahey's team? LS a smaller yearling if well built but has grown into a taller and rangier model. An effect perhaps enhanced by being in a duel with the pony sized PBanu. But PB again showing that she has some zip and gets the most out of herself and a full trier. But with no scop she is going to get left behind. |
