GS Going with Going Stick at 7.0 at 9:00 Thur = UPDATE = Heavy rain during the afternoon and Going changed to Soft and still raining when the race took place. Stalls Stands' Side. Very Strong Wind as a Crosswind from the Left.

Notably Slow Time with field racing Stands' side and the runner-up running down the Stands' Rail. This and later races where fields came across suggested that getting near to the rail necessary. Racing away from the rail and centre track looked a big disadvantage.
