GGF going with 5.4mm of rain Wed-Fri (2.8mm of that overnight). Going Stick = 6.4 at 13:15. Medium Breeze as a One-Quarter Tailwind from the Left. Post Debut report on Daunt at NOTT from Highclere TB Website. = "Post race report 9th June = Daunt made a pleasing debut at Nottingham finishing fourth to the impressive winner Sans Loi. He behaved himself beautifully throughout the preliminaries. Richard and his team have done a tremendous job in settling Daunt, teaching him to relax in his exercise and that was really clear to see today. In the race itself he broke smartly to race at the forefront of affairs and, as they quickened up, he changed his leg a couple of times but put his head down to race and showed a really good attitude. When Jamie Spencer realised he had no chance with the winner, he pushed him out hands and heels without giving him a hard time. All in all, a most encouraging debut run." Hannon's website = "Daunt ran well at Nottingham and will appreciate this easier ground, while Fairy Moss has run two ok races and will win her maiden in time, if not tomorrow." |
