Official going as GGF produced by watering with latest 3mm applied Monday (Presume some rain over the weekend). Going Stick at 7.5 (8.0 previous day) having been 8.7 on April 25th (GFF), 9.0 on May 2nd (GFF) and 8.0 on May 7th (GF). Stiff breeze as a Tailwind in the straight and a half Tailwind from the right in the 5.5f Chute. Barry Hills on his website news for w/b 9th May = "We run another nice two year old filly at Warwick in the shape of Sajwah (by Exceed and Excel). Although she is quite tall and leggy she has been showing plenty of dash on the gallops and is pictured on the nearside below." [UPDATE = Barry Hills on his website news for w/b 16th May = "Sajwah, advertised her Royal Ascot claims. When she first came in you wouldn't have pinpointed her as one of our first two year old winners as she is a tall filly and at the time weighed nearly 500kgs. However she has always enjoyed her work and been forward going, and once the weight came off she has always looked very racy. It was probably quite a good race she won. She had to work for it and will have learnt plenty. There should be a lot of improvement to come from her. ] |
